The Big Big Picture! The Marriage Story of God and People!

… and Your Personal Decision to Align Your Life to Become a Friend of God

Why is family, love, marriage, sex, divorce, kids, remarriage, engagement / betrothal so big to us all? Because these things reflect the very core of who we are – our core and closest relationships and it reflects who God is, who we are, the meaning of life, and the reason we were created by God.

What we are reflecting here on earth with all things family – are the very picture of the very heart of God. It is what matters most to God: Relationship – friendship – family – brotherhood – sisterhood – being a dad – being a mom – being a son – being a daughter.

The reason this whole thing – family, marriage, sex, falling in love, love, is so big to us – is because it is so so close to everything God is 😍. Think about it. As Christians we believe God is a Trinity – Tri-Unity – Three in ONE. ONE God – three persons.

The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. 3 in one. So the very definition of God – is RELATIONSHIP.

The tri-unity of God – God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are continually loving each other, longing for each other, giving to each other, honoring each other, lifting each other up, believing in each other – in perfect unity.

We are made in God’s image – with the purpose to participate in that closeness, exchange of love, knowing and honor.

These things, principles and longings, are designed by God – even embedded inside us all by God. This is hard wired into the fabric of who we are – because we are made in His image to be in the closest possible friendship with God.

This intrinsic value and purpose in life – of simply being defined as a fully accepted, valued, fully loved person – by God our Father – Jesus our brother – and the Holy Spirit who has many motherly characteristics – this is meant to be our rock of truth: that we are all infinitely forever valuable, deeply completely loved and accepted – simply because we are created to be sons and daughters of God.

Not for what we have done or not done, are doing or are going to do.

Conclusion

You – Are – Loved!!!

Why Did God Create Us All? Because He Wanted

More Friends to Share His Love With.

The meaning of life then is: being in a continual developing healthily growing friendship with God.

Whoever said that no one knows the meaning of life and that it is up to you to make it up – was not correct. They said it because they sincerely believed it – and many think it is true. That does not make it correct. We can be honestly, sincerely, genuinely incorrect.

This… is the true, eternal, loving, real very meaning of life for all people everywhere. To discover that and walk in that and to grow in that. This friend of God life journey – is our job, our primary task, main mission, and purpose in life.

Making the Most Important Decision in Your Life

If you have not yet committed all that you are under the complete leadership of the One, Jesus, who is God in flesh and blood, risen from the dead, alive today, Jesus, who knows you the best and loves you the most – but would like to make that decision now – please come to Him through praying the following prayer to Him with all your heart – and He has promised He will hear you and answer you:

Dear Jesus. I recognize you as the one true God – creator of heaven and earth. I turn from living life my own way – to following You wholeheartedly.

I turn from sin to living rightly and purely and to receive and believe Your forgiveness that You paid for, Jesus, by dying in the cross for me.

Thank you for Your forgiveness and thank You for filling me with Your Holy Spirit now to understand You, to live for You and to change my ways. I submit to You as the Leader of my life, Savior of my soul, and my best Friend.

Thank You that I am now a born-again child of the living God. Amen.

Back to the BIG BIG picture – you have just responded to the purest love, from the most honorable person ever to tread the dirt of our planet – Jesus from Nazareth.

Jesus has loved you since before you were born. He has been deeply and fully in love with you and still is and always will be.

Until you respond to His love – He still loves you. Even though you deny Him, spit Him and His children in the face.

As a Father, a Brother, a Mom God has loved you deeply – forever – only hoping you’d understand and accept and receive that love.

In God’s perspective, which is what is eternally true, loving and right, you have just become “engaged” and promised all of yourself forever to the Lord Jesus Christ.

He has already forever done the same for you – proving His love for you, by giving His very life and blood for you on the cross – taking the punishment we deserve forever.

You have responded to His passionate proven love for us all (men – just roll with the fact that you are now the bride of Christ 😉). You are now wearing His ring – His seal of approval, love and honor, which is the Holy Spirit within you!

The wedding between us, the bride, and Jesus, the groom, is going to happen (Revelation 19:6-10, Revelation 21:1-4, Matthew 25:1-13, Matthew 22:2-14) – the complete marital unity is going to happen (spiritually of course).

Jesus paid the price to purchase you back from, and free you from under the ownership of satan – and broke our previous engagement to be married to satan. The only condition is that we accept to humble ourselves, believe in, receive and act on His love. To believe it is true, good and right.

To respond by not being ashamed of these extremely good news – the gospel – is the will of God for all people.

Jesus proved His love for us in that: He died for us, giving His life, blood for us, going through extreme pain – and even separation from God for us – on the cross – there forever taking the punishment of our guilt, rebellion, non-love, removing our shame, and thereby uniting us 100% with God – making us spotlessly clean through our faith.

We have allowed ourselves to be saved by Jesus – and have – through faith – broken the rebellion of man generally and ourselves individually. We have aligned ourselves with the will of God, the “Save the Humans – God’s children – plan”.

This is key. I hope you get this: As Christians with courting, dating, betrothal and the marriage and sex we are called by God – and we are hardwired – designed by God to reflect and follow this larger picture – which is: stop hanging with anyone but Jesus. Accept the free love marriage, covenant offer of God The Father, by accepting Jesus, we who believe, are the church – which is the bride of Christ.

Human marriage, with preceding courting, falling in love, proposal, and betrothal between a man and a woman and the resulting fruit of love – children – is crafted, designed and purposed by God to reflect this beautiful relationship between God and us!

Pure devoted love in the Trinity resulted in kids – made in the image of God – us. The same happens in human marriage.

How – Beautiful – Is – That?

This eternal covenant agreement – made and sealed in blood (Jesus on the cross) between God and man – by which we can enter through the veil into the Holy of Holies in Heaven – and achieve unity with God – is reflected in marriage in a blood covenant, where the veil of the hymen is broken and the Holy of Holies is entered to achieve unity and that love then creates children – made in the image of the parents.

How – Beautiful and Perfect – Is – That?

It’s a match made in heaven. It’s a blood covenant both in heaven and on earth. It is eternal and is meant to last for life. This has unfortunately not always happened like that. We are rebellious, selfish, egotistical, prideful, deceptive. We are tempted and we are broken. But that does not stop this – from eternally being the ideal. The forever – not changing – plan of God.

No matter where we find ourselves in relation to the ideal, we still are called to pursue it from where we are. That is why we are called by God to repent – and change our thinking – to change our actions. Let us keep going for this good, loving, honorable truth filled purpose of God. For it is good for us – we were hard-wired for it.

As passionately and lovingly and honorably and patiently and forgivingly and graciously as Jesus has sought after us – and is still continually seeking after all of us – we are called by Him to seek after Him – and to seek to unite others with Him.

And in the same way we are to reflect that in all our relationships. He deeply passionately is in love with us and looongs for us to respond… Will we expand our response to cover this area of submitting our relationship, dating, marriage, sex life completely to Him as well?

Following Jesus wholeheartedly in all areas of life is literally the best and most important decision ever. The second biggest decision in life is – who will you marry? Which really means: Who will you team up with as ONE team for life to pursue the purposes God with in this ONE life we have?
