What About GDPR and Other Similar Laws of the Land?

Here is the law. According to the Bible, we should do our very best to keep all the laws of the land – while first obeying the perfect, loving, truthful, absolutely justice-filled laws of God (Romans 13:1-7).

If a law is good and protecting and honoring and is filled with justice and truth before God and people – we should obey it. The traffic law is good, right, and protective. So, we should follow it or face the consequences of us or others driving irresponsibly – or the police.

And that is good, right, truthful, and loving.

Is GDPR a Good Law According to the Bible?

Is GDPR a good law according to the Bible? That is a very complex question. The purpose of GDPR is to protect individuals’ privacy and personal data by regulating how organizations collect, store, process, and share such information. It aims to give individuals greater control over their data and ensure organizations comply with strict data protection standards to enhance trust and accountability.

It is an interesting purpose when thinking that God says He knows everything and that everything we have ever done will one day be known by everyone!

Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

Luke 12:1-5

We Do Not Want to Be “Found Out”

The problem is with us humans is that we sin, we then hide in shame, and we do not want to be “found out”, for we want to control and hide things, for what matters to us is – what other people think. We do not think it is fun with ridicule.

And it is not. We were made for joy, honor, value, love, and peace. But we also know some of what we are accused of is true. But the beautiful thing is – God truly knows it all – and is truly in complete love with us.

Maybe – to avoid being wrongly limited by GDPR – we should not do what we do as an organization?? But merely as private people helping other private people get better?? That will be hard – but some might choose this to keep GDPR risks lower.

If we do it as an organization – we definitely need to be clear in our heads and realize if and when we are breaking the GDPR law, and what the potential consequences can be.

With Laws: What If We Lived in for Instance North Korea?

We would have to find a way to effectively spread the good message of Jesus – without getting killed – unless it was in the timing of God to die. We would go by the leading of Holy Spirit – as to who to share the message with, how, when, how long etc. That is also how we should operate everywhere else in the world.

The Digital Reality of the World We Live in Now

All things are and can be recorded by anyone with a phone or computer at any time or the people can be undercover mole journalists. Both the demonic spiritists as well as hypnotizers as well as all others broadcast all the demonic stuff on full display – and so does Hollywood. People can see extreme and violent sin at any time – and they do. We should wisely, intelligently, lovingly demonstrate the even more extreme reality love and power of Daddy.

Technological Freedom Is the Reality

Today – this is also the situation. The truth is that the truth of our sin and demons can potentially be recorded by anyone at any time anyways – both online and on-site. These recordings can then be made public online globally. All have a camera and microphone and can buy glasses with a hidden camera etc. What we do will come out one way or the other – and looks more and more like the full knowledge and exposure of God in Heaven.

The Bible and Hiding Things – Sins and Demons

The Bible hides nothing from or about anyone. Think of the stories of King David, Peter the Apostle, Paul the Apostle, all the apostles, the exposure of the Pharisees etc. No sin, no secrets, no demons are hidden to God – He knows all anyways. And it will be made public one day anyway by God. And we are 100% forgiven – we have come out of sin, shame, and hiding – into the light of His mercy, grace, and forgiveness.

The Strategy and Plans of the Enemy to Hide and Stay Hidden

For me – and for many – it is actually a great relief to also realize that not the entire guilt – but some of the guilt is on us. Some of the guilt for sin is on demons!

And we must – we need to deal with demons with the tools we have been given = truth, identity of dearly beloved kids of God, with whom He is fully satisfied, so we are all best friends with Father God and the truth of God in His Word, and the authority He has given us over demons – to cast them out and drive them away from us with our commands.

Since if we lack knowledge and understanding of the facts of the situation we are in, we will not use the right weapons in Christ – then a good way to help us wake up and realize the reality of the situation is to expose the enemy as they dwell in the flesh of people – also believers (for the flesh of us is not yet perfected).

Demons, therefore, must be clearly and openly exposed from their hiddenness!

This is the strategy Jesus chose to deal with them. And it seems wise and correct and truth-based in my eyes.

It Doesn’t Always Look Nice When They Go

YES. The problem with demons is, that they don’t look nice and they don’t always go without a fight of resistance, and it doesn’t always look nice when they go. Is it also extreme, and ugly, and extraordinary, and spectacular, and revealing, and exposing, and controversial! Yes!

And will it therefore, also get a lot of viral attention online? Yes. Will that spread the Word about Jesus as well? Yes!! Will that also “expose” those people who are getting delivered to bad things? Yes. But is God fully there for them and for all of us? Yes.

The Bible and therefore God even encourages us to rejoice when we are persecuted, beaten, for His name, doing His work, testifying to His grace, power, presence, love, and freedom. Jesus was, Himself, treated in that very same way.

The nature of demons and strategy of demons therefore is to stay hidden. How do you defeat darkness? With light! They must therefore be clearly and openly exposed from their hiddenness!

We should welcome the attention on Jesus due to His power and authority. And we should be there for those who stand forward for all of Jesus as much as we can – to support them, encourage them, help them, guide them.

It is clear that this is the strategy Jesus chose to deal with them. And it seems wise and correct in my eyes too.

What If I or My Team or Advisors Go to Prison for This?

I am willing to suffer and be persecuted for doing good as God commanded. So should we all be. I have no fear of that. I have a fear of not doing what God says. I have One judge I will stand before and give an account to for my life decisions.

What Does God Think?

I believe wholeheartedly in the principle of God first. Who and what we obey is our real god / God. Therefore, Jesus is first in identity, word, and practice for all of us. I have come to the joy, freedom, deliverance, inner healing, and restoration of my identity as a beloved son of God, with whom He is fully satisfied and well pleased through being completely found and transparent in my sin before God. And I am helping people be transparent by being transparent and sharing my story myself.

What does God think of demons being cast out and people being healed of trauma and people repenting, humbling themselves – meeting Him as the Physician?

God thinks that is awesome!!!

What does God think of someone sharing their story of deliverance, healing, repentance? They are awesome!! Will that story help others??

YES!!

The believers in Jesus triumphed over the accuser (of God, others, and themselves, satan the defeated liar), by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

Revelation 12:11

How Do We Wisely Navigate the Fields Between?

• The Negative versions:
  • Bulldozer, boundary crossing, violation, trauma. Overstepping free will.
• Positive sides of bold faith:
  • Miracles of God on full display so many come to faith because of them. Proactive, positive, initiative taking, obedient, intimate friend identity based strong action and total responsibility.
• Reinterpretation of:
  • Persecution in the mix.
• The good:
  • Praise of God and fame of God.
• The right kind of good pride:
  • I am proud of God and I am happy and loud about what He is doing in and through me by grace through faith because of my willingness to repent, humble myself and change into more of how He is.
• The bad:
  • Pride and – look at me only. Down with others. No room for others. I am better than others.

Is Recording and Broadcasting Inner Healing and Deliverance Like Doing the Same with Sex?

When does deliverance and inner trauma healing and repentance become like global live transmission of sex between a husband and wife – which should not be made public. For it is holy and private – even though God sees it all? Is that the right picture to put on it?

It doesn’t seem like that is how God views it. No, there is no global New Testament descriptions of actual intercourse. But there are many detailed descriptions of actual deliverance sessions – done in a 100% public setting – by Jesus – Who is our perfect Master to follow!!

What if God says: This process is pure, honorable, good – and yes – real and gory, but important to expose the dirt of it (both the trauma, the personal sins, the generational sins, the sins of others, and the demonic open doors) – because in the exposure is a necessary part of the healing. Why? Then you can use the right toolset to truly get free – because you see the different mechanics at play.

The Reality Will Always Be

To some people – to globally broadcast inner healing and deliverance is not acceptable. They have not arrived at that conclusion for many reasons. To others – this is ok but can also be uninformed.

It seems – to God – this is ok – as we see Jesus did it in full public view and also fully exposed the sinful hidden motives in the hearts of people.

We should always be open to change to His way, His perspective, also very clearly seen in His actions and in His Word. That is the essence of discipleship – to change to what He did.

What Are Accusation and Problem Scenarios?

Can having recordings like this lead to misuse of power over the weak and sick to make money and gain popularity – get famous, be superior – better than others in value? Yes. How sick that is – yes. That is totally the nature and character of the very demons (need to go) and the very sin nature (needs to die and we focus on life, grace, love, Daddy satisfaction in us in Christ) we are dealing with.

Has this been done in the past and will it happen in the future? Yes.

The key, and the important difference, is the heart and personal freedom. What is the real reason to why things are being done? Just like Jesus made that distinction here. On a superficial reading it looks like Jesus is banning public prayer – or public ministry – or public deliverance, dead-raising, prophecy, and healing. But that’s clearly not the point and the action – for He Himself prayed in public, healed in public, delivered in public, raised the dead in public etc.

Matthew 6:1-21

Verse 1: Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Two People Can Do Exactly the Same Thing

So, 2 people can do exactly the same thing – for instance: do deliverance in public. But one can do it with a pure heart for God first and really only for Him – yet it is seen by others. And that is also good (see Matthew 5:13-16 – so people see the good deeds and resulting miracles and come to faith) – and the other – to be seen by people first. Looks the same – but God approves one – and does not reward the other.

The enemy, satan, will try to accuse those doing good deeds of having impure motives – even if they do not. He will also try and make us driven by fear of people and chasing for status – more than simply living before the One who already completely constantly loves us – and doing all we do out of already being fully loved and Him being fully satisfied in Him.

So, as a minister who sees miracles happen through me, and trains all who are willing to learn how – to do the same, I and the willing and humble must all ensure we keep our motives right and pure – and that we simply live before Daddy – being obedient to His call, commands, and always live deeply in love with Him, satisfied in His love.

The Best Medicine Against Pride

And the best medicine against pride, egotism, performance is to have one prio one: To spend time just one-on-one with Daddy, through Jesus, in Holy Spirit. Quality time with our best Friend. There is no possibility to come across better than we are. There is no bragging. There is no acting.

Before Him we live, broken, yet loved. Utterly fallen, yet embraced. Utterly failed – yet He is fully satisfied with us – because of the blood and the cross of Jesus.

We are naked, vulnerable, exposed, completely seen by Him. And if we truly spend time with Him – He will speak and correct, and direct, and help, and restore, and heal. He is the pearl of great price – no-one else and nothing else is (Matthew 13:44-46).

How Do We Ensure That Recordings of Inner Healing and Deliverance Sessions Do Not Lead to Blackmail and Control?

1. Since all people are deceivers, broken, liars, we can do our best to ensure this – but never be perfect. The best we can all do is to personally repent, live healed, live in total brokenness and honesty. Then when we are “exposed” – we can own what we have done if we have not already “exposed” it freely and voluntarily already – which we should do. And then there is nothing to “expose”.
2. And we should have clear guidelines on how to store these recordings securely and when to delete them – and what to use them for and when.
3. This is while knowing – all things can be recorded, all things can be stolen, and all things can be hacked – and knowing all deep dark secrets are already fully known by God and will be fully exposed to everyone by God one day. Not to destroy – but to judge with justice and fairness – and to separate good from bad.

Did Jesus Have to Navigate and Deal with Internal Problems?

Did Jesus have problems with His crew? Oh yes, Judas (the demonic betrayer)… Peter (the shifting straw)… The sons of thunder, Thomas the doubter… – people you never hear about, and they all denied they knew Him at the end…

Conclusions

Therefore, this is where I stand: I think we should go for doing this today at our public meetings and publicly online – as well as privately.

As I read the fullness of Scripture, Jesus clearly would do what people needed publicly if He was 100% in the flesh today. And so, it would be recorded by the recording devices of our day. This is not against doing this in private sessions. It’s not an either – or.

And Peter and Paul would do it as well – explaining accurately and authoritatively into their contemporary culture what was going on and using the manifestation of the grace and power of God as their platform for leading people directly to faith in Jesus – the one who is very much alive, powerfully supernatural, and present now to love, heal, restore – also if there are demonic manifestations, ugly crying, exposure of sin, and negative social or physical consequences.

They would use those miracles to lead people to faith. God is HERE! SEE! We should and must and can and are able to do the same. That’s how it was in the time of Jesus. That is how it is now.

Obedient Discipleship Directly Under Jesus

I could be willing to part ways because of the answers I believe are right when it comes to this question, for I will not grieve or be disobedient to Holy Spirit fullness of power in order to please people’s fears, traditions, and limitations. But I am very willing to take a very civilized fullness based, Bible based, fear of God based, “read and do” based, dialogue about it – also with others involved, also those who do it and see the fruit of that.

I would not have gotten to where I am without the simple principle of the childish “read and do” with my Master, Lord, God, Creator – the One I will answer to first. Obedient discipleship directly under Jesus first is our call – doing exactly what Jesus and His first followers did.

What Is the Most Efficient Today?

How do we win the most people – as Paul writes: We are responsible to change ourselves – with no compromise under God’s love and truth – in order to do that (1 Corinthians 9:19-23)? Considering all things. What if real people are set free from demons, healed, raised from the dead, filled with the Spirit, traumas are healed – like they were with Roger Pedersen? Or like it happened with Lazarus?

Are we then to fear the response and persecution? No. But is it not nice? It is not. It is hard – but in Christ, with Christ, through Holy Spirit power and reliance, by faith against trouble, in trouble – we can overcome.

What if the fullness of Holy Spirit power is more efficient than merely “relevance” / modernity / coolness – where power is blocked out?

What if we move naturally in the fullness of the power of the supernatural? What if we gracefully, wisely, intelligently, and culturally relevantly explain the supernatural then? Like Peter on Pentecost – we must, to convert power into believers and disciples!

If we are able to truly see great miracles happen – and stay humble, and explain accurately what is happening when it is not easy to understand, and use those miracles to prove that God is real and that God Himself is calling people through us – to turn to His love now – then we will have secured one of the greatest keys to revival we have as normal Christians.

Action – Properly Balanced Principles to Work By

In a decision-making process around certain matters – like this one.

List of Prioritized Priorities and Principles to Consider

Not necessarily only as in either – or – but sometimes – a both + and.

1. The opinion of God on a matter – also if many of us humans, His kids, disagree
   • We submit to the leading of the fullness of Holy Spirit – where anything that He leads can and should happen. We will go for all that Jesus did – and more. To demonstrate the goodness and power and justice of God to all.
   • Both now – and at the end of all of our lives, we all stand directly responsible before the Trinity of God; Father, Son, Spirit – for what we have decided to do or not do in our life – compared to what He enabled, commanded, and called us to be – and do – which are all great, good things we were made to be and do.
   • The eternal personality and character of God – as seen in Jesus first (and the opposite of that of demons), are our measuring rod and absolute primary guide here.
   • Each believer is fully personally responsible before God – to ferociously and aggressively with white hot fire, zeal and positive boiling jealousy, to seek the fullness of Holy Spirit expression by love, faith, power, and authority in and through us – in action (true faith is action). I am 100% responsible before God. You are. Leaders are even especially responsible – as we lead others – naturally – representing Jesus!
     • Each one of us are to step out and learn and practice all gifts of Holy Spirit – from tongues to deliverance, healing, and raising the dead etc. The fullness of all gifts. That we would be mature, not lacking any of the tools we need to minister to the actual needs of any believer – whether it is filling of Holy Spirit, tongues, prophecy, healing, deliverance, etc. Lacking nothing – but continually growing.

Then, After That Clear Number 1

Number 1 above is such a big number 1 – that it is always number 1. It is completely out of category! Then, after that is firmly completely in place, these below also come into play – after that clear number 1:

1. The love of others and ourselves.
2. The responsibility of leadership to explain extremely well to those who do not understand what is happening – what it is that they are seeing and experiencing.
3. The responsibility of all of us to follow good, loving, just, righteous, fair laws of culture and country.
4. All of us understand the reality that in the world we will experience persecution. And we are not to be afraid of it. Holy Spirit, Jesus, and Daddy with us, within us, in it with us, giving us the strength we need to endure and do the right thing.
5. The responsibility of all of us to do what we need to do – under the freedom of the law of love – to win as many people as possible to know the love of Daddy, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. We have the responsibility to decide to increase our effectiveness, so more come to faith – or not. Yet without compromise to the fullness of truth and love in God.

Decisions of Action – So Far as I Understand It Now

Considering These Principles of Arriving at Practical Principles of Practice – What Do I Decide Regarding Filming and Making It Public Online?

1. I will do my best to inform people of the options and the consequences of their choices – both good and bad.
   • The good thing with recording:
     • Personal use: It helps the person themselves to understand – from the outside – what happened. They can re-live it in a deeper way. And catch the lies and attacks of the enemy better.
     • Global evidence God is ALIVE, moves, heals, and wins. Other people can understand and come to faith through it.
     • Globally to show: Practically – how does it happen that people are healed and set free?
     • Globally helps others understand what inner healing and deliverance and formation of Christ practically looks like.
     • Globally takes the “mystery” out of deliverance (if we explain well what is going on). Helps others enter in and receive the same type of prayer ministry – which probably 95% of all people could benefit from.
     • To go public globally with our faith and testimonies is a way of thanking Jesus for what He did and of spreading the good message of freedom through coming out of shame, rejection, lies, destruction, death, rebellion, witchcraft, sin, self-pity, impurity, out into the light of love and intimate friendship with Daddy, Brother, Spirit, etc.
   • The bad thing with recording and publicizing:
     • Possible global till the end of your life – persecutions.
     • Possible global till the end of your life – misunderstandings.
     • Possible global till the end of your life – negative consequences job wise, finance wise.
     • Possible global till the end of your life – social ridicule and accusations.
     • Possible global till the end of your life – family rejections.
     • Possible global till the end of your life – exposure of deep dark personal secrets, sins, that have been hidden for years – also those of others. And be aware – demons can say lies to “get others down”, and taint their good name. So, we need to be aware of that as leaders of such a recorded and published session – so we can cut out certain parts then.

Explaining and Honoring People’s Requests

2. I commit to doing my best to explain what exactly is going on during a deliverance session that is put online – both to those who do not know – and to those who do not yet believe. This is my job here, our job, as mature leaders (1 Corinthians 14:23) – exactly like Peter did in Acts 2.
3. I will, if I so promise, not record if people ask and I am able to do something about it and I will not publish recordings or and I will pull back public recordings if asked by people in the recordings.
4. If people ask that it not be recorded at all – not even by themselves, I will honor that.

Graduations in Terms of Small Home or Church Office Prayer Sessions

5. Graduations in terms of small home or church office prayer sessions
   • I will do my best to inform people of the options and the consequences of their choices – both good and bad.
   • I will allow that people are prayed for completely privately – with no recording – that I know of.
   • I will allow that people are prayed for (and anything can happen) – where their phone is recording it with sound and video.
   • I will allow that people are prayed for where I am recording it and then sharing it with them only.
   • I will allow that people are prayed for and it is streamed live globally (and anything can happen).
   • I will allow that people make their own decisions – which might change at a later date. But I will do my utmost to follow their requests if they want me to pull their recording off my social media video platforms.
   • If there is a recording – or not – I might return for instance – 6 months or a year later – or sooner or later – to ask for a story or a “participants commentary” where they comment on what happened during their prayer and inner healing session – with clips or even the complete session running – and then with breaks as well.

Public Christian Meetings and Public Spaces

6. With public Christian meetings and going out in public spaces like parks and streets
   • Public meetings: We will let people know by the doors that this is a public meeting and that everything that happens at the meeting and during prayer can be recorded and put online.
   • Public meetings: I will allow for recording anything that happens in those places – filmed in a way that is not completely in YOUR FACE. But close enough to see what is going on.
   • Outside in public places: Simply go up to people and say: “I am a small time / new Christian YouTuber” – or “I am a Christian YouTuber. I’d like to offer prayer for anything you need – and we sometimes see real miracles of healing from sicknesses happen. Is it OK that we record it?”
   • It is not a necessity that anything is recorded – but it can be.

Accountability, GDPR Policy, and Data Removal

7. I will have people who I am responsible under and mutually accountable to – who believe in and practice themselves what I believe in foundationally – under God, the Word, the practice. Otherwise, I will come under limitations of fear, lies, what seems right to people. But I will stand responsible to not bow to fear and opinions but to the practices of Jesus. And I will stand responsible to do follow my own guidelines as much as possible.
8. We will ask people to sign our GDPR policy (which should be made by the best lawyers) – and that we can store their personal data under GDPR. We will let people know if they are going public on Social Media – that that is going on and will happen.
9. We will have a dpo@… mail address, where people can write – to have their data removed from our storage and our Social Media platforms. We will do all we can to ensure that that ask is from the real actual person.

I think we need to see this in the following way: Holy Spirit, Jesus, and Daddy are bosses, best intimate Friends, and Creators of all humans. We literally live before Him first and need to do what is good and right in His eyes and will first.

And that is to demonstrate the fullness of the love and power of God in all ways in all situations toward all people. This includes things like healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons – and living with the consequences of that in this hurt, confused, broken, fallen, rebellious world.
