Here are carefully selected external sources and public materials concerning questions of ministry accountability. This is not a complete catalogue of active or concluded matters. Material will be included only where there is a responsible reason to direct readers to publicly available documentation, commentary, statements, or responses — and where patient efforts toward loving correction have already been attempted where that was still possible.
Important: Action Christianity is not conducting an independent investigation or adjudication by listing these materials. Inclusion of a name, ministry, report, interview, or video is not an endorsement of every claim, conclusion, or theological framing in that source. Readers should assess primary documents, dates, supporting evidence, public responses, corrections, and current outcomes carefully, and should not treat this page as a substitute for investigation, safeguarding, lawful reporting, or pastoral care.
Even where we may not agree with every point raised by every commentator, the public record already includes substantial reporting, statements, and video analysis from people and outlets such as Mike Winger, Minor Prophets, Wake Up & Win, The Remnant Radio, Ron Cantor, Julie Roys / The Roys Report, and others. The names below are linked so readers can follow the publicly available materials for themselves.
How to use these resources
Before forming judgments about people, movements, or ministries, please read our Justice Principles and Non-Negotiable Health Foundations. Those standards address truthfulness, evidence, impartiality, repentance, safeguarding, correction, restoration, and healthy boundaries. This page is a research desk pointing to public materials — not a gossip feed and not a final court.
External source directory
The outlets below regularly publish public commentary, documents, interviews, or long-form analysis. Listing them is not an endorsement of every conclusion they reach.
Long-form Bible teaching and public-source analysis. The Roys Report
Investigative reporting, documents, interviews, and updates. Ron Cantor
Public commentary, letters, and ministry responses. The Remnant Radio
Discussion and discernment resources from a continuationist perspective. Minor Prophets
Commentary and analysis of contemporary ministry questions. Wake Up & Win
Interviews, public conversations, and commentary.
Source-review standard
When reading any linked material, look for: the original source, a clear date, supporting documents or testimony, public responses from the people or ministries named, corrections or retractions if any, and the current publicly stated outcome where available.
Sources may be incomplete, contested, or in disagreement with one another. Treat civil filings as allegations unless a court has entered a final judgment. Treat investigative reports as the findings of those investigators, not as findings by Action Christianity.
Publicly discussed matters (selected)
The entries below point readers to publicly available reports, journalism, court filings, and commentary. Each heading names a person or ministry that appears frequently in that public record. The linked materials speak for themselves; Action Christianity is not asserting private knowledge beyond what those sources claim.
Shawn Bolz, Bethel / Bill Johnson, and related public coverage
Public commentary and reporting have addressed questions about alleged “words of knowledge” practices, platforming decisions, and how leaders responded when concerns became public. Starting points include:
- Mike Winger — long-form analysis on Bethel-related public issues
- Julie Roys + Mike Winger — Charismatic Cover-Up Culture
- Ron Cantor — An Open Letter to Kris Vallotton
- Remnant Radio — Is Bethel Church Past the Point of No Return?

- Church Leaders — report on Bethel’s later platforming decisions
Mike Bickle / IHOPKC — Firefly and related public reporting
An investigation associated with Firefly (materials hosted via Tikkun Global) and subsequent pastoral recommendations have been published and widely reported. Readers should read the primary documents and later journalism rather than summaries alone:
- Firefly executive summary (Tikkun-hosted PDF)
- Pastoral Recommendation Team report (Tikkun-hosted PDF)
- The Roys Report — reporting on the recommendation regarding ministry eligibility
- Julie Roys — video/podcast on later public activity
- Wake Up & Win — Tammy Woods interview
- Wake Up & Win — Elizabeth interview
Dr. Michael Brown — competing public findings
Public materials include a Firefly investigation report and later statements from an elder accountability process that reached a different conclusion. The conflict between those public accounts is itself part of what careful readers should examine:
- Firefly report PDF
- MinistryWatch summary of the Firefly materials
- Julie Roys + Ron Cantor — discussion of Brown’s public video response
- brownwitnessreport.com — compilation referenced in public commentary
- Religion Unplugged — reporting on the Firefly conclusions
Todd Bentley and Rick Joyner / MorningStar
Public reporting describes a 2020 disqualification statement by a panel of charismatic leaders regarding Bentley, later coverage of platforming decisions, and related MorningStar controversies. Questions about standards for correction, repentance, and restoration are discussed in those sources — readers should evaluate the primary reporting:
- The Roys Report — 2020 disqualification coverage
- The Roys Report — later platforming coverage

Sean Feucht
Public allegations of financial mismanagement have been reported by former insiders and news outlets. A donor fraud lawsuit was dismissed for insufficient tracing of funds, with leave to refile according to court reporting — so this remains a contested public dispute, not a closed criminal conviction:
- Truth and Freedom Stories
- AP — takeaways on financial allegations
- The Roys Report — court dismissal with leave to refile
Kathryn Krick
Public commentary (especially Minor Prophets) has published discussions of leaked emails, concerns about associated leaders, and related teaching controversies. Treat these as the producers’ published claims and examine their cited materials:
- Minor Prophets — leaked email discussion
- Minor Prophets — GeorDavie-related discussion
- Minor Prophets — further related commentary
- Minor Prophets — full channel (additional Kathryn Krick episodes)
- Minor Prophets — Apple Podcasts episode list
Lovy Elias
Civil complaints filed in Los Angeles have been reported by MinistryWatch, Christian Post, and The Roys Report. These are court allegations unless and until resolved by a final judgment:

- Complaint PDF hosted via The Roys Report
Separately, public court records also show a Los Angeles defamation/libel case filed by Lovy Longomba Elias against Miami-based pastor Ejay (“E.J.” / Prophet E.J.) Newton and another defendant. That civil dispute (allegations and defenses on both sides) remains a matter of public court record; readers should consult the docket and filings rather than social-media summaries alone:
- UniCourt docket — Lovy Longomba Elias vs Ejay Newton, et al.
- LegalClarity — overview noting the Elias v. Newton defamation case alongside the Jane Doe suits (secondary summary)

Brian Houston / Hillsong
Public records include Houston’s own statements stepping aside amid criminal proceedings related to his father, Hillsong Global Board findings on Pastor’s Code of Conduct breaches, and later court reporting. Readers should distinguish church governance findings from criminal-court outcomes:

Submitting material
Before sending material — including possible additions internationally or in Denmark — please first read the Justice Principles and Non-Negotiable Health Foundations, and consider whether private confrontation under appropriate pastoral processes has already been attempted where that is still possible.
Please send only documented public material: original sources, direct links, dates, and any public responses or outcomes. Do not send rumours, private personal information, or unverified claims. The goal must be protection of people and the integrity of the church — not the destruction of a rival.
If a matter later belongs on this page, it will be added the same way: after loving correction has been attempted where possible, after the public pattern is clear enough to document carefully, and only where a public pointer to sources still serves readers.
