Intro

As I am working on being an original disciple directly under the real Biblical Jesus Christ, myself – doing what He did, obeying what He commanded – and training others, I have realized the following: This subject – when it comes to actually seeing miracles happen at least approaching the level of Jesus and His disciples – is perhaps the most important one to get right.

If we get this wrong – we end up in “comfort” instead of “obedience”. We end up in self-fulfilling prophecies based on limiting theologies – instead of vibrant manifold beautiful explosions of the power of God in and through us and others.

To be clear from the very outset, there is a true difference here between the 5-fold ministry gifts given by Jesus to serve and educate His “body” of believers, representing the “fullness of Him” for all believers to be trained, equipped and able to do the works of ministry of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher (the gifts of Jesus in Eph 4:11-13), and the gifts of the Holy Spirit where some are mentioned in 1 Cor 12:8-10, 28-31, and you can say the gifts of the Father are mentioned in Romans 12:7-8: serving, teaching, encouraging, giving, leading, having mercy. I do not currently believe all are prophets or one of the other 5-fold ministry gifts – but we are all to be fully trained by them to “do the work of ministry”. All of us do have holy amazing callings and tasks and various jobs and places to be and go.

And there are also natural gifts like brain and logic IQ, body movement IQ, emotional IQ, relational IQ, educational knowledge, and other natural skills. So, to be clear. This writing is not about these – which are often confused into the dialogue about the gifts of Holy Spirit.

To be very clear, all things; personality, physical traits etc. – all thangs are at the end of the day a gift of grace from God. We are merely administrators, caretakers, rulers of the gifts of God. Life itself is a gift.

But let’s not be overly simple and say every gift is the same type and nature and works the same.

Some of the many types of gifts each person has at various levels are:

  1. The IQs and natural talents or gifts – which we are all responsible to further develop. One of the biggest gifts God has given you to steward is your body – including your brain (Matthew 25:15-30). Love yourself and take well care of and develop that gift.
  2. The 5-fold gifts of Jesus (Eph 4:11-13) – who are to train, equip, and help serve us all to do all that they know and have from Jesus. Also, here – that is a huge amazing and fantastic education – leading us to fullness of maturity in humility, patience, love, and unity in Christ.
  3. The education and professional skill you have is also to be stewarded and are not the gifts of the Spirit either – and they are also separate and different from the others in this list (Exodus 31:3-5).
  4. Specific callings of people (Psalm 139:16, Romans 11:29). Like jobs, relationships, where to live, which language to speak, what to do even down to each day – but also over a lifetime.
  5. The motivational gifts of the Father (Romans 12:7-8) – which are gifts given to us all that we are all to grow in.
  6. The adaptation we are to make to speak clearly to the culture around us in the language, understanding, clothing, communication style, rules etc. that are there and are godly (1 Cor 9:19-23, Acts 2, Acts 16:1-5, Galatians 2:3).
  7. The differences we have in our personalities and genders. While 100% submitting our personality and preferences to death under obedience to Jesus. While not letting trauma, hurt, the past pains and experience dominate over obedience to the discipleship lifestyle (Luke 14:33, Luke 9:23, John 12:24).

From going through this list and the Scriptures in it we also clearly see – that from God’s perspective – He has given us all we have – AND we all have the responsibility to work with those talents and skills and abilities and step into all He has for us and has given us and develop it. So, it is first God who gives all things – and then us who steps into the fullness of what He has given us – which is everything – yet with some natural good boundaries like the differences between genders, strengths, callings, natural abilities and talents, opportunities – while we passionately pursue – from where we are – to grow into the fullness of more.

What is this all about?

This Bible study is about the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit – which I have a very long list of arguments why they are all for all who are born-again by the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12-14). And just a little hint already now: Jesus trained all His followers to do all by showing all and commanding all to do all – and they did all. That has not changed – for He has not changed.

This Bible study will lay out plainly the Biblical reasons that I believe I clearly see why and how all believers have access to all the “relevant in the situation” supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit at all times (for all believers have the fully complete and perfect Holy Spirit with (John 3:34) full power living inside them because they are born again by the whole fullness of the Holy Spirit) – we all = they all just need to be taught, trained, have them demonstrated before them – so we know how they function and each one of us, therefore – me and you, need to take full personal responsibility and ownership of learning to grow in the gifts of the Spirit for ourselves.

We now, therefore, since this is true, need to learn (take the education of Jesus, the Master, “Carpenter”) and learn practically how to be led by the Holy Spirit in it and move by the faith of others or the own faith of the recipients and then step out in faith that we have them – and then – then we will begin to move in them more and more. This works by faith – which partly is a self-fulfilling prophecy. If we believe this is the will of God (which it is) – and prove it by action – we will experience for it TAKES BELIEF = FAITH IN ACTION. If we don’t – we won’t. Again – this is also not talking about the specific tasks and calling God has for each person (Psalm 139:16) – which God says is forever without regret / without repentance – meaning God will always call you to be and then do what He made you to be and do (Romans 11:29) – also if you messed up – like I did.

So, there are 2 main simple answers among Christians to this question

  1. Absolute no.Cessationism. Look for my teaching on pharisaicalism and cessationism.
  2. No. Only some have some gifts and others do not necessarily have the same.
  3. Yes. All gifts are there for all, all the time. Therefore, we are all personally responsible to take the fullness of the education Jesus gave His disciples, and learn how they work by training, use, instruction, and demonstration by those who are mature and bear healthy fruit in their practice – see the results of miracles. We are now all called by faith in daring boldness and broken humility to proactively step out (Jesus’ training model with both the 12 (Matt 10) and the 70 (Luke 10).

How important is the answer to this question?

I Biblically, emphatically, wholeheartedly, passionately, and experientially say: The healthy and correct answer to this question is one of the keys to full scale Biblical revival. And it is a resounding, YES! All the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit are for all who are born again by the Holy Spirit of God Christians, followers of The Way, disciples of Jesus. Our answer to this question is very important because our actions and boldness and faith in the supernatural realm is either liberated, unlimited, and set free or greatly limited in terms of what we believe we can and should do in this area.

Here, I will do what I can to show why this is extremely important to get right. And I will give you healthy Biblical arguments why this perspective is the better and right interpretation of 1 Cor 12-14.

Prioritized list of reasons for this perspective

1 – Jesus is the Perfect Primary and Master Example for all Disciples

Jesus Himself, who is perfect God in the flesh is – and must be our main and first model for life and ministry. Both in word and deed. Many English language Bibles have the words of Jesus in red – but what He did should be in fluorescent green. His actions express perfect faith, life, and truth. He is our Master – we are His disciples – in word and deed. He is the only perfect human being. Many Christians look at Jesus and say: “That is impossible. He is God. I am not.” But that was not what Jesus taught, did and showed us. He continually said – follow me – and be like me, do like me (John 15:20, Matthew 10:24-25, Luke 6:46-49, John 17:18). And so did His followers (1 Corinthians 11:1).

So, we need to understand that Jesus did nothing unnecessary or impossible for us to do. And He practiced and demonstrated all the gifts as a life-flow meeting the needs of people in the power of the Holy Spirit under the guidance of the Father publicly before all His followers where-ever there was need and faith. He trained them by that and by watching them. That means He did not just do deliverance from evil spirits in people – both pre-believers and believers, because He had no pharmaceuticals and no psychologists, psychiatrists, or mental hospitals. He did deliverance, healing, prophecy, dead-raising, baptism in the Holy Spirit etc., and in love commanded and commands His followers to do the same, because that is the best treatment for many cases for all time!

I have nothing against psychiatric hospitals, pills, psychiatrists, or psychologists etc. But there is the spiritual dimension as well and we have seen people set free from things that are “impossible”.

He naturally and organically through ministry guided by the Father and the need and faith of the people trained all His disciples – both the 12 and the 70 to do all – and it worked (at times)! He sent them out to do all He did. He did not say: Stop stop – you 5 people over there (out of the 70) – you don’t have this or that gift – so don’t try to do what you have been trained by me to do. Do not heal the sick or cast out demons or raise the dead. You only have the gift of tongues and interpretation of tongues, or… you can ONLY raise the dead, or you can only cast out demons, you can NOT heal the sick.

Imagine for your last 3 ½ years you were one of the 12 of Jesus – or one of the 70 of Jesus – who were trained by Him to do all. All of it happened before you and He asked you to see it and then He commanded you to do it all. Do you think you could do it if He trained you? Is He the same, yesterday, today, and forever (Hebr 13:8)? Yes! What if – in this life – you had been trained by, discipled by, activated by someone – a team of fullness of Christ 5-fold ministers, so, someone truly good had demonstrated this before you – so, not just one person but even a group of relatively mature fruit bearing people who all individually stepped out into and who all strove to grow into more faith and understanding and practice of all the gifts, practices healthily as Jesus and His followers did (when they looked like Him) – do you then think you would be well trained after some time – to step into practicing all? Yes.

We can do this

1 John 5:3-4

3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

We are far more influenced by past understandings, limitations, experiences, fears, traditions, role-models, failures, and even demonic strongholds, and limiting theology – than most of us realize and are ashamed to admit. If your role models and leaders did not display this to you in a healthy way – remove that bad training and get good healthy effective wise fruit-bearing training from those who do do these things well. All those things hinder us from stepping boldly into the fullness of the expression of Christ in our lives.

I have very good news, though. Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever (Hebr. 13:8). No, He is not here physically, but there are people who you can learn from that can teach you how to effectively move in and grow in and get activated in the gifts of the Holy Spirit – because they move in them and want to give away what they have for free…

I have gathered a list of those I listen to for challenging inspiration here:

https://1drv.ms/w/s!AjvPa8m88R2BjZ41pAPHe3HUeKcEdg?e=JgaS7p

Can we please all agree that Jesus is God? Paul is not. Peter is not. Jesus is our only God and only Master. We are direct disciples under Him. Jesus is the perfect example. He is also right now our direct Master, and we are His direct disciples. We will give an account for our lives to Him – not to Paul, Peter, or our local church leadership or families or any other “false gods”. This means if we see Jesus clearly teaching something and clearly demonstrating and doing something – then that example is higher than even if His direct 12 disciples said or did something different – both during their direct training and after He left. Were they not making mistakes of not including Gentiles? Were they not having controversies and divisions? Did Paul not write funky stuff about the baptism for the dead? Did Paul not have to rebuke Peter publicly for sinning? Did Paul not want to separate from Mark and had a large dispute with Barnabas? Only one – only Jesus is completely perfect in both word & deed.

Jesus said the following in Matthew 28:18-20 about what defines a disciple:

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

This is so simple, really. This includes Matthew 10 and Luke 10 – just as much as the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5-7) and taking up our cross daily. Or should we pick and choose what we think defines discipleship – due to errors, omission of others, our fears, our church traditions or current leaders non-obedience to Matthew 10 and Luke 10 – or other parts of what Jesus commanded and lived and demonstrated?

Can we then also agree that the Words and Actions of Jesus throughout all 4 gospels are higher guiding posts for both theology and practice around the life, practice, training, demonstration, and command to step into all the gifts, than 3 verses in a letter by Paul where he is responding to another letter, we do not have? And where his main purpose there in chapter 1 Cor 12:29-30 is really not to say: Do not do it for you just don’t have it, buddy – don’t go against the gifts God has NOT given you (like we do today) – but rather Paul is saying in 1 Cor 12 and 14 – please do it lovingly, passionately, proactively, and intelligently – and do it a lot – and do it well and go for it within healthy good parameters, so the maximum blessing comes out of it for all?

Lack of freedom for some?

Both all the 12 and the 70 are commanded to cast out demons. And they do it. According to Matt 28:18-20 – we are to obey all Jesus commanded them. What if some simply do not have that “gift”. So, since deliverance is for Christians, but they don’t have that gift, they are just stuck with their demons…???

Lack of power to others?

If only some have some gifts – then some can just not be healed, hear from Heaven, etc.

It’s really very very simple

  1. All have the same power to heal all sicknesses and hear from Heaven – The Holy Spirit lives in all who are born-again. There is no difference – for He has delegated it – given Him, the Holy Spirit, to us.
  2. All have the same authority over ALL demons in the name of Jesus. There is no difference in authority – for it is not ours. He has delegated it to us.

2 – All Supernatural Gifts Are For All – Seen Many Places in The Bible

It is really simple really. Here is the logical sequence of words directly from Jesus that lead us all to do all:

  1. The Words and Actions of Jesus are the highest revelation in the Bible. He is the perfect most normal human being.
  2. Matthew 28:20Teach the disciples to obey everything I have commanded you.
  3. Matthew 10:8 & Mark 3:13-15Heal the sick, raise the dead, … drive out demons.
    1. Jesus also prophesied, filled people with the Holy Spirit, and found people of peace etc. We are now – to do it all.
  4. Is it just Jesus and the 12 – no it is the 70 as well? Jesus said to the 70:
    1. Luke 10:1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. … 9 Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ … 17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
      1. WILL YOU BE AN “OTHER”?
    2. It is for all – DISCIPLES!
    3. Acts 6 – Steven was a disciple – not a 5-fold – and he healed the sick, preached – and was martyred – and moved the heart of Saul – who later became the humble apostle Paul.
    4. Acts 9:10-19 – A simple disciple called Ananias in Acts – went and healed, baptized, and prophesied to Paul the apostle. He was not a 5-fold minister – but a disciple!!
  5. Jesus was very enthusiastic and clear
    1. John 14:12
      1. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
  6. Nothing is impossible
    1. Luke 1:37 – For nothing will be impossible with God.
    2. Mark 9:23 – Jesus said: “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
  7. Paul was clear
    1. Ephesians 1:3 literally says – that we have every single spiritual blessing from God – and since the gifts are a blessing – we have them all.

So, this defines that it is not if you have the “gift” or not – it is if you have faith, and eagerly desire, and in that – follow the leading of the Spirit – and the life priorities and deeds of Jesus is a good indication of how much you are hearing from the Holy Spirit.

What are Scriptural reasons that this is a reasonable and even the healthy, sound, and by far the heaviest weighing position?

  1. Please read: Matthew 10. Follow someone who does it, learn how, then just go do it and train all others to do the same! Simple – yes, dare I say, childlike.
  2. Please also read all of Luke 10 – and notice that it specifically says 70 OTHERS!! Who are sent – just like the 12 “Super” Apostles previously were. Seriously – see it: no titles, no mighty Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, or Teachers? Just “others”?? “Just” disciples!?! Just “people who hung out with Jesus” – enough to have seen enough to do it. If you are looking to get out – the exit door was just closed. But it’s silly to want to get out – unless you don’t want to see the love of God through the power of God. That shows signs of fear and false teaching – not the goodness of the Father through the Son by The Spirit. All of us fit in if we will watch, learn, do, practice, hand out with Jesus! Jesus did not say: “Sorry guys – you 10 don’t have the gifts for this or that and sorry you 50 – don’t raise the dead – you don’t have the gift!” He sent them ALL out to do ALL that He Himself did. AND this even happens before the Holy Spirit is poured out on all believers in power on Pentecost!
    1. It was simply 70 who had seen enough, practiced enough, hung out with Jesus enough. OK – you are ready! GO! The limits are OFF! They always were! Therefore, you become what you fill yourself with: Bingewatch Todd White, Isaiah Saldivar, Vlad Savchuk, Mike Signorelli, Alexandru Iordan, etc. etc.
  3. There is also Mark 16:16-20 – but as that is disputed, you can include it or not. What is written there, though, is no different from what is in Luke 10 and Matthew 10 as well as the Book of Acts!
  4. Acts 1-10 – there are no descriptions of anyone who cannot operate in certain gifts – and so they shouldn’t.
  5. 1 Cor. 12:31 & 1 Cor. 14:1 – How can we be told twice here to eagerly strive for greater gifts – if we simply do not have them and cannot operate in them?
  6. How can we strive to operate in the gifts that bless others – if we are stuck with this other particular gift – but NOT that one?? See 1 Cor 14:12. Seek to excel in gifts that build up the gathering. Let’s take the “subject” / the “course” practically with failings and patience – in all the gifts – so we will operate in all of them.
  7. John 3:34 – ”For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.
    1. You either get the whole Holy Spirit or nothing. There is no half Holy Spirit or junior Holy Spirit for kids. It’s His power and gifts. We zealously passionately desire and go for and step out & have faith in action for them. Knowing we are apprentices who will fail at times, but we will learn from that.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
  8. Eph 1:3
    1. The Father has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
      1. We got everything we need in Christ through the Holy Spirit. It is His gifts – but ours to learn how to activate and step out.
  9. Luke 10:19 – we have ALL been given authority over ALL the power of the enemy = Satan and his demons. Who said deliverance is just for the very few?? The workers are FEW – maybe it is due to us throwing out the baby with the bathwater? Us limiting the Holy Spirit in us.
  10. Romans 8:11 – the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us! We can ALL raise the dead. Phil 3:10 – we are to know Christ and the power of His resurrection!
    1. If it is settled, that we can ALL raise the dead – then the rest follows as easy J!
  11. Again – where do you plant your flag and your limit? Where do you stop? Where do you stand? Nothing is impossible for the one who believes. Nothing is impossible with God.

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BTW. “ministry” gifts – or “the gifts of Jesus” – the 5-fold – and the “Gifts of the Holy Spirit”? Yes. The ministry gifts are permanent for life, personal callings – and people are given as gifts by Jesus to His body – the church. The Spiritual gifts are given “in the moment” of need, directed by the Holy Spirit activated through faith in action – all of them are present all the time to all people who are wanting and willing and therefore acting through the Holy Spirit and they are accessed through faith which leads to action and under the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Warning!

Please do not build a ministry around a gift of the Spirit

It is both unbiblical and unhealthy. There are ministry gifts of the 5-fold in Eph 4:11-15.

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

There is no “healing ministry” or “deliverance ministry” mentioned in the Bible. Yes, there are prophets who are specifically to focus on hearing from God and teaching others to do the same. But: All saints, all disciples, should be trained by the 5-fold and each other to do all – including all the gifts of the Spirit – so all reach the fullness of maturity in Christ. There are no superstars in the 5-fold. The best “superstars” are those who train others the best and who give the most away – thereby serving the most to succeed – so they in turn can train others. AND please note – not all “gifts of the Holy Spirit” are even mentioned in the lists of gifts in the Bible.

  1. What about the gift of healing through mud made with spit?
  2. Or the gift of healing through shadows, clothing – or through baptism (Naaman)?
  3. Or the gift of flying through the air by the Spirit to your next location?
  4. And – what about the “gift of raising the dead” – where is that in these lists? Where is that ministry team around that gift in any the church???
  5. Or the gifts of tree killing, storm stopping, planet orbit stopping, liar killing, blinding, and muting the unbelievers?
  6. The idea of someone having a “deliverance ministry” built on the gift of “discernment of spirits” now becomes off – and old school thinking. Then there should also be specific mud-healing, storm-stopping, tree-killing, dead raising, Spirit flying ministries. No – we are simply disciples who are to grow in all these things. It so quickly gets polluted and diverted into superstar unobtainable specialist ministries for the few. That must be stopped and what we do must look like Luke 10 – all doing all that Jesus did.
  7. So, the idea of anyone having a “healing ministry”, or “deliverance ministry” is not healthy, not balanced, and does not match what Jesus showed and practiced. It takes away that all are challenged to grow into all the expressions of the power of God.

The problem is that we pick and choose what we like and, to be honest, what does not confront ourselves and our comfort, fears, hesitations, and traditions. Jesus was and IS all about transforming all of us – all of our lives, personalities, free us from trauma, limiting mindsets, and bad habits into world changers for Him.

His disciples of old – turned their world upside down using all gifts of the Spirit – in which they were trained – He hasn’t changed.

And – there is much more to say to support this view.

3 – What we really need and when miracles truly happen through us

We just need to learn to step into the beautiful combination of:

  1. Faith – which is expressed in action (James 2:17) – and which can both come from those needing a miracle and you who is the minister.
  2. Love – expressed in obedience (John 14:15).
  3. Being led by the Holy Spirit – sensing what the Holy Spirit is doing and the Father is leading (John 5:19). This is achieved by time in the secret place with Daddyo.

We need to desire and take proactive action (as that is the nature of true faith) to get activated in all gifts especially those that benefit others (1 Corinthians 14:5 & 1 Corinthians 14:12) and to (2 Timothy 1:6) fan into flame even more those that we have begun to walk in.

We must not be hearers only, or only give mental agreement to, or say wow, yes that is nice for you. We cannot say: “I also believe that” – end then do nothing to take that land (Luke 11:28). We need to stop being Greeks – where we can agree to a Master’s teaching, but not do what He does or do what He says (Matthew 7:24–27). Where in Hebrew thinking – there can be no separation between speaking, hearing, and doing (Matthew 4:19). It is false, otherwise. Faith is a fact, but faith is an act(ion).

We should continually ask to be refilled and filled even more with the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13).

The self-fulfilling nature of our faith, confession, and spiritual gifts – as well as all other things relating to life and faith

Faith is to a large degree the same as a self-fulfilling prophecy. What you believe for, you will work for, you will ask for, you will pursue – and then it is 90% much more likely that you will receive it. If you don’t want it – you will likely not get it. If you don’t believe it – likely you will not receive it. If you say it is not for you – it will not happen in or through you. If you don’t work for it, educate yourself in it, strive for it, put in the time, effort, and investment – it will not happen. If you do not on purpose put yourself under and in contact with and learn from those who walk healthily and strongly in the supernatural gifts of God – it will just not happen.

This is how it is with the spiritual power gifts of the Holy Spirit as well. It is very sensical, logical, and super practical. Seek and you shall find! Train yourself up – and you will be better. Does the Holy Spirit have a will of His own – like the Father and Jesus? Yes. Can He say no? Yes. But is His general will to bring Heaven to earth and for people to be healed, delivered, raised from the dead, prophesied over, filled with the Holy Spirit, speak in tongues etc. YES – very clearly so from what we see Jesus doing and teaching generally.

Matthew 25:45-47

45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

And in that intersection of faith, persistence (not giving up in spite of failure – even repeated failure), willingness to look foolish (Luke 10:21, Matthew 11:25-26), simple obedience, initiative, boldness, brokenness, action, eagerly seeking the Father and desiring the gifts, the leading of the Holy Spirit, the needs of the people – that is where the miracles of the power of the Spirit are manifested through any person who will humble themselves and be as a little child.

We need to deeply humble ourselves, repent, change and do it right – right now – if we have not had this attitude of learning and then demonstrating and then giving both the power and the training away to all for free.

4 – The Beautiful Challenging Exciting Consequence

When you simply believe what you see Jesus doing – much more faith happens

  1. You unlimit yourself from wondering if I have it – for I do not want to go against and step out into areas where the Father has not gifted me.
  2. The challenge now simply is to learn how from those who operate in it and want to teach it to others (don’t learn from the “superstars” – they will keep you down).
  3. The responsibility is now on you – not on God to do it – but on you to actually be obedient and grow in this – not to just sit and wait for God to give you gifts – but for you to learn to use all the gifts He has already given you (which are all).
  4. You can now fix so many problems for people through healing, prophecy, deliverance, baptism in the Holy Spirit etc.

The real consequence here now – is that you can now do so much more than you thought. You can now in faith and boldness step out and begin to do and explore and grow.

The mistake that has been made is also this: Many think that if I have a certain gift, when I for instance then pray for the sick – then the sick will get healed. That is just not true – especially when you see have many people “pray for the sick” – because Jesus actually never ever prayed for anyone who was sick. So, will it work if we do not heal the sick like Jesus did – with faith, authority, action, clarity, gentleness, commanding healing / commanding the weather, with compassion, love, and under the leading of the Holy Spirit.

The beautiful consequence is that it now means we must all grow up, become mature and take personal responsibility for our own growth and learning and start learning how to use all the super-charged power-tools at our disposal so we can demonstrate the power and love of our Father to this dying world.

When you flip this to “all have all gifts” as I do, you see the following

  1. This question is now more about desperate hunger for bearing fruit that forces you to repent and change your own perception and action – or choosing to staying unrepentant with excuses, fear, limitation, confirmation of no gift through failure, comfort, self-pity, & satisfaction.
  2. This becomes more about true faith = in daring action over fear of what ppl will think or what if it doesn’t work or happen.
  3. It becomes more about an ever-evolving life- and personality transforming repentance requiring relationship with the true living God over; religion and tradition and what does my past tell me?
  4. It becomes NOT about what you grew up with – have seen so far or tried but failed at BUT about the reality of what it looked like had Jesus trained you personally today (Matt & Luke 10 + all the Gospels and Acts)
  5. Should we ask the prophet to stop training you in the gifts – to do that “work of the ministry” (Eph 4:10-14) which they are called to do because it’s like promising you a carrot “speaking in tongues / word of knowledge/ prophesying” you will never get!!
  6. It’s about NOT letting the religious, the past, the demonic & limiting in VERSUS true original style Christianity.
  7. Also, this is extremely challenging – also especially humbling to accept for leaders, for it means to backtrack from previous thinking, it calls for humility and repentance, and it challenges all Christian leaders everywhere to both: teach all of this and practice all of this and train others to do all of this in front of all – just like Jesus did…
  8. AND when you actually do this, you find that when you act on this, then you see that it is beautiful, freeing, empowering, positively challenging, we actually bear much fruit to the glory of the Father (for the truth is – when the false limits are off – we can truly do so so so so so much more than we thought we could)
    1. Then it does not become: Oh – how anointed this person is (which is a highly privileged role to let go of for a very “anointed” person) – but: How anointed is Jesus and how anointed am I and every other believer – that I can actually do all this wonderful Bible stuff myself as well. Now all are activated to be trained in and do all.

5 – The Fruit Of The 2 Theologies

What I have seen over my life of now 30 years (I became a Christian in 1994) – is that those who believe all have all gifts and start growing and ministering – with as much faith, passion, action, leading as they possibly can – while humbly growing by learning from those who see more of the power of the Spirit in a healthy way – while training others to do the same – they see much more of the supernatural in their life – than those of the other persuasion.

If you believe just some gifts are for some people. You get 4 things: Self fulfilled prophets, superstars, unbalanced weirdos, and disabled Christians.

  1. You get self-fulfilling prophets. Believing this is actually – as all things to do with faith – a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you believe nothing – you get pretty much nothing. If you believe little, you get little. If you believe much – you go for much – you get much – with time and training.
  2. You get superstars – that are unobtainable – for they have gifts you just do not have and will never have and so you shouldn’t even desire it, go for it, and learn from them. So, we all run to big meetings with the unobtainable superstars. That is exactly why I LOVE the sending out of the 70 faceless, nameless in Luke 10. Their awesome unobtainable title is literally “others” – that’s it. Can you be an “other”? YES! They also were to:
    1. Find the person of peace – v. 5-6
    2. Heal the sick – v. 9
    3. Cast out demons – v. 17
    4. The same as the 12 (apostle – non-superstars) were commanded.
  3. You get weirdos who have just one big hammer – and everything else becomes a nail. They just have one tool (tongues, deliverance, healing, prophecy) and they use that even though that is not what the person in front of them needs at that moment. We become less effective than we should be. We become unable to be obedient to this command of Paul (1 Cor 14:12): since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, strive to excel in building up the church.
  4. And then you get disabled Christians. For they think: I tried this and that and it didn’t work, so I do not have it, so I should not step out boldly and do it for I would go against God, for He has not given it to me so I should of course not go against the will of God and attempt to raise the dead, speak in tongues, heal the sick, cast out demons. This is so bad – I cannot even describe how crippling, how unbelieving, how wrong and terrible, how limiting this is compared to the real view and practice of Jesus. It is like little demons are clapping their hands in the error of this view.

The consequence of this is: You get people who only specialize in the gift of controlling the weather, or only on walking of water, or only on raising the dead, or only on tongues, or only on discerning of spirits, or only on healing, or prophecy, or words of knowledge, or the mud healing ministry – as opposed to learning to step into and have faith for and learn how to operate in: seek (strive) to excel at the greater gifts – which means those that are not only for yourself – like personal tongues, but those that build up others (1 Cor 14:12).

6 – Scriptures Seemingly Against All Gifts For All Born Again Believers

1 Corinthians 12:29-30

29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

2 Timothy 1:6

Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Romans 1:11

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you.

Romans 12:3-6

3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;

A challenge to just going with this limiting flow of: I do not have that gift

Does this happen? That faith builds faith and that people suddenly experience new giftings and new levels and shifts? Yes.

Can you receive new infillings of the Holy Spirit? Yes. We should go for being re-filled. The Bible literally says: Be, being filled (where). Ask – and keep on asking.

After prayer they received the power of the Holy Spirit – the boldness, the fire increased.

Did they already have the gifts? Did they just get increased? Did they just get more unlocked? Did their faith increase? Yes – there seems to be such a thing as having more, bigger, larger faith… Jesus talked about faith and bigger faith.

If you have seen many ancles get healed – does that increase your confidence that you can be used by God to heal ancles – yes! And is confidence an important ingredient to faith? Yes. Does that mean other things cannot? No.

All we need is simple repentance to childlike faith as a mustard seed – expressed in love and obedience – led by the Spirit.

The disciples said: Increase our faith. And He said: Do not doubt in your heart.

Mark 11:22-24

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Say stuff to the mountain. As if it has ears to hear. As if it needs to hear you speak and to then obey. Like God spoke – and it happened. Speak to it – by faith. Speak to whatever is not right. Speak the will of God from Heaven of Heaven to the things that are not as it is in Heaven.

This story in Luke is a great story of simple faith. Simply do what He has already commanded – and as you do that – obey what He has already said – then that is faith (Luke 17:5-10) – and then the mountains will obey us.

Important note

There is a STRONG difference between faith for salvation – and faith for healing, deliverance, raising the dead, and prophecy. Faith for salvation is permanent and based on Christ, the cross and the Holy Spirit does not jump in and out of a child of God quickly and easily.

There is a LEVEL of faith for prophecy and every other gift of the Spirit: Romans 12:6

And that level can grow. What we invest in grows. Like Paul said to Timothy: Fan into flame the gift given you at the laying on of hands. Can there be gifts given by the Spirit? Yes. Can we go for ANY gift and should we? YES. It is needs based as well as Spirit given and Spirit led. We are dealing with people – “commanders” AND “receivers” AND God – where none of them are machines – all are relational, dynamic, flexible, friend and love-based.

Scriptures seemingly against

The big “evil” misunderstood one

  1. 1 Cor 12:28-31
    1. Some people God has designated in the church to be, first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then, mighty deeds; then, gifts of healing, assistance, administration, and varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work mighty deeds? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.
  2. The answer to the questions above is clearly NO! But including ALL of the fullness of Scripture, how does this fit with, that Jesus, our prime & perfect example, took anyone willing and did not differentiate on the basis of spiritual gifts? He trained all to do all be showing all before all and sent all to do all. The same author, Paul, says right here to eagerly desire the greater gifts. But if I just do not have them – that is like giving me work to achieve something I can never have. That is completely self-contradictory. That is not ok by God. It makes God unjust. It is not right to tell us to desire something if He holds that away from us and we are limited – and we do not have access to it at all! Jesus did differentiate on different levels of talent – so what we have been given we will be required to use.
  3. BUT do we go against God – by desiring more than we have? NO! On the contrary – we are to desire more – and expecting to step into more – because there is more – and it is ours.
  4. Does a confusion set in when we read: some are apostles – others are teachers. Not at all. Does that mean that some could be a combination of those? Yes.
  5. Does a NO lead us to limiting ourselves and not stepping out because of this? Then we are in direct opposition to 1 Cor 14:1strive eagerly for the spiritual gifts, above all that you may prophesy.

A VERY possible explanation or way to reconcile the NO and the EAGERLIY STRIVE AND DESIRE

  1. All of 1 Cor 12-14 are in a setting of a gathering of Christians where there are different people needing miracles of various kinds. In that setting, do all heal the same sick person at the same time? No. There is one in a group who heals the sick person there who needs healing – and in so doing gets gifts of the Holy Spirit of Heaven of healing as it happens – they believe and therefore act and therefore that one who does that has the gift of healing in that specific situation for that specific person. But it can be a group that has “faith” for healing, due to experience, training, results (not because they have a gift others do not have in the Spirit). The same goes with deliverance. We need to go for the expression of the power of God that is needed in a situation. This interpretation fits with the entirety of Scripture and sets everyone free to go for all the gifts through faith as need arises at all times.
    1. Above Paul is simply saying – stop the crazy confusion here. Everyone was claiming to be an Apostle or whatever great title. Also, all spoke in tongues at the same time, causing confusion to outsiders and all ran after the sick and claimed to be prophets in a disorderly way. All used the wrong gift for the wrong situation – it did not fit the need. And that is not love.
  2. The Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers are to teach us what they know – and show us how – so we can “do the work of the ministry” Eph 4:10-12. They should also teach each other to do the work of ministry in other areas. The people are the gifts, they are grace gifts to the body. This includes that they specialize in and teach healing the sick, raising the dead, preaching, hearing from God, loving God, others and ourselves, understanding all the wonderful principles of Christian life. So, we are to all become mature, strong in the faith – fully equipped to do the work of the evangelists, pastors, teachers, prophets, and apostles.
  3. IS THERE, HERE, an unstated understanding, that whenever Paul mentions spiritual expression gifts – there should be “one at a time” – but it does not mean that only a very select few are chosen to have and to operate in certain gifts? Yes – very clearly.

A very plausible answer to all of the above is, that the overwhelming evidence is that we all have the full Holy Spirit Who has all the gifts for us all, in us all, through all, to all – without measure. They are His gifts. They manifest as needed and as He agrees in each situation – we just need to be trained in how to use them and then flow with the dear Holy Spirit – in all His gifts at all times as the need is for the maximum good in each situation. And we need to step out in faith and step into the gifts of the Spirit through quality time with the Father, prayer, praise, worship, repentance, and action that leads to experience and increased faith. We will see the results of it.

When I went to Bible School in Dallas at Christ For The Nations Institute I bought this set of commentaries and especially the one on First Corinthians is amazing – by Gordon Fee.

Open pages from Gordon D. Fee’s First Epistle to the Corinthians commentary.

His take-away is not that just some have some of the gifts – but we are to, like Paul said – zealously strive for all the greater gifts than tongues. How do we do that? By getting practical hands-on training – like what Jesus did with His disciples. So, let’s take self-ownership of our input and learn from those who see these miracles happen through them.

Gifts received through laying on of hands?

  1. 1 Tim 4:14
    1. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
  2. The foundation is that the Holy Spirit lives in a born-again believer. Does it mean we can just pray for people to receive gifts – and then they get them? No. And if they are not prayed for and prophesied over – then they don’t? No – from the fullness of Scripture – no. Is there an impartation of gifts? Sure. Yes. Is there the lifestyle to actually live the life that carries and sustains a gift – yes – much better – and we even see this happen here. He got it – but he needs to focus on it, stir it, step out and do it. And do we, in reality have and can we do all gifts – because the Holy Spirit lives in us and will help us move in the gifts? Yes, that is the foundation of permanent 24/7 truth that we actually stand on and can grow into more and more of.

And a HUGE misunderstanding – corrected

  1. If you have the gift – then it always works – and if you don’t it doesn’t.
    1. NO – we learn, we grown, we try, we fail, we go again – we are apprentices, disciples, learning from our Master – step by step! We step out in faith the best we know how.
    2. Even Jesus prayed twice for a blind person (Mark 8:22-25)! And he commanded demons to go who didn’t just go immediately (Luke 8:28-29)! And the Apostles couldn’t cast a certain demon out – but Jesus could. How much more do we need persistence and faith and to learn and grow. I like to say: If Jesus sometimes needed 2 rounds. I am fine with needing 100.
    3. Patience, persistence, longsuffering is definitely part of the faith expression picture here:
      1. Luke 18:1-8 – “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”
      2. Daniel 10:1-14 – Daniel prayed for 21 days before the answer came – even though the answer was sent by angel messenger immediately he started praying.
      3. 2 Kings 5:10-15 – only after the 7th time – in humility – was there healing.
      4. Joshua 6:1–27 – 7 times around Jericho doing these things. Then the walls will just crumble!
      5. Mark 9:29 – Prayer and fasting are key to deliverance.
      6. 1 Cor 14:1 – The gifts are manifested through passionate zeal to step out into them. Passionate zeal does not look like. Oh – I don’t feel I have this. Oh – God will give if He wants. Oh – I can do what I want and God will do what He wants. Nope. Not what the Bible says. Let’s get excited about moving in the mighty power of God.

The Beauty Of Many Parts Of The Body Doing Different Things?

What about the beauty of the body? Doing ministry if all have all gifts? Then it is more related to the 5-fold ministry gifts – where not all are apostles or prophets etc.. And to the training and excelling in things. And to different understandings and perspectives and experiences and levels (they can be lost – to be regained).

Conclusion. The Complete Democratization Of The Power Of God!

  1. As a born again Christian, you have the full person of the Holy Spirit living inside you – even without limit (John 3:34) – so you now HAVE all the gifts the Holy Spirit has already (Ephesians 1:3). Knowing and believing this, that you through faith in Jesus (have received and confessed Him as your Lord and Savior) have it all – you just need to learn how to walk in it – just like Jesus trained His disciples to do ALL things (Matt & Luke 10) – sets you free to fully go for it. The positive and sharp and exciting challenge is now on for you to take ownership to obey, defeat the fear of man and learn how.
  2. You just need to step out and as an apprentice – a nonperfect disciple, child of God who is growing, a non-master, to learn from the Master and other disciples who demonstrate by fruit they know how to practice what you have learnt. This is your faith growth journey. Learn practically from others. Get prayer, get freedom, decide to have boldness and faith. Believe and step out on the water – believing you have received, therefore you speak and act (2 Corinthians 4:13).
  3. You are therefore in reality limitless through the Holy Spirits leading. Nothing is impossible for the one who believes. Nothing is impossible for God. Jesus is the same forever. You can raise the dead, heal the sick, cast out demons, help people get filled with and baptized with the Holy Spirit, speak in tongues. Because you can – therefore Jesus commands it in Matt 10:7-8 – and many other places. You can and should help lead people to repentance and freedom from sin and get baptized in water. You are called by almighty God to preach the good news of the love, grace, forgiveness and call to holiness and loving obedience to Jesus.
  4. Let’s ALL go do J! Stop limiting God and yourself. Stop letting others – including false limiting theology, including church history, leaders, even great and powerful anointed fruitful leaders (who still limit themselves and others), or tradition – hinder you. Break free from fear of people, traditions, and demons. Follow Jesus. Jesus has NEVER stopped saying: Lead people to faith, repentance and baptism in the Holy Spirit and water: Heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, prophesy etc. – and do it all in love, humility, truth, wisdom, strength, honor, grace, and power.

Again, and as final remarks

Practically – it’s simply an education with practice that we need to take. Our leaders (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers) lead the way, and train us all to do what they are doing through hands on practical exercises. Take the course, do the practical exercises. Follow the Master first and a master on earth second. Learn & grow by doing plenty of mistakes. Have courage, hunger and be an Action Christian. Take action. Then you will bear much fruit to the glory of the Father. The more you do this – the more Heaven will see it and ensure you see the power of God manifest through you.

These are the stories of Carlos Anacondia, John Wimber, Todd White, David Hogan – and me. Do you want to also be used by God to do these things?

The Proof Is In The Pudding

It’s funny and really interesting this observation from Christian life: Those who believe few have few gifts see very little of the supernatural. Those who believe all is for all & go for it, actually speaking and acting on it, encouraging all – see much… I wonder why that is… can you figure it out? I have. Please join me.

Therefore. It is not a matter of if you have certain gifts or not. It is a matter now of boldness, faith, courage, action, repentance, humility, and growth – and changing to belief, and true faith is proved in humble faith-filled action. This aligns with Jesus’ teaching on this area. Sounds like truth to me.

7 – What a Biblical Gathering of the Called out Ones Should Look Like

All of 1 Cor 12 and 14 are set in a large gathering of believers. This is key to understanding the whole thing. For Paul is addressing when they are gathered – and someone comes in – and they don’t know what tongues is – and then they think – these people are crazy. I have seen this happen in services where Christians thought – oh – this is just us here. They did not have enough wisdom, honor, love, and understanding to think of those there, who were unfamiliar with tongues or the manifastations of the Holy Spirit.

Paul in 1 Cor 12 & 14 was all about the leadership leading so that things were healthy. He was not about shutting anything down – rather, like Peter did at Pentecost in Acts 2 – He is saying: Explain it to outsiders (those who would criticize – like they did in Acts 2)! Let’s agree that Paul is encouraging the use of all gifts and that the gifts that benefit others are those

All our gatherings around Him should display all the fullnesses of God:

  1. The fullness of expression of the Father, intimacy with Daddyo (Matthew 6:6, Matthew 11:27, Ephesians 3:19-21).
  2. The fullness of expression of Jesus Christ (John 1:16, Ephesians 4:11-15, Colossians 2:9).
  3. The fullness of expression of the Holy Spirit – the mighty miracle working powers of God (Ephesians 5:18, Acts 2:4).
  4. The fullness (sum of) of expression of The Word of God – the Bible (Psalm 119:160).
  5. The fullness of expression of the 5-fold gifts (Ephesians 4:11-15).
  6. The fullness of expression of the at least 50 character-traits of God (Bible Study on that).
  7. The fullness of expression of all the I-ams in Christ, and the names of God (Bible Study: I Am In Christ).

8 How are the Supernatural Grace Gifts of God Activated In A Healthy Way?

So, the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit are one big mix of these facts – where sometimes they are one thing – other times another – and other times a mix of the list below:

  1. Owned and distributed by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:11) – but they are
  2. Given to us (every single one of them – Ephesians 1:3) – not permanently – but
  3. By His will through our eager earnest passionate (zealously) faith (1 Cor 14:1) (– but not His will only – also
  4. By the actual present need in people and a situation (1 Corinthians 14:12), and
  5. By Him seeing faith in people (Acts 14:9) (faith can become His will – and we need to humble ourselves (James 4:10),
  6. Repent into positive good message kingdom faith (Mark 1:14-15),
  7. Simple clear action on, ownership of, and obedience towards using the delegated authority of Jesus over all demons (Luke 10:19, Luke 9:1), and also
  8. Hope, and love in action (1 Corinthians 13:13)(not fear) and decide to have faith) – and then
  9. Through our faith (the person healing (Luke 7:11-17, Mark 11:23)) or
  10. The faith of the person getting healed (Matthew 8:10) or
  11. The faith of the people around the person needing healing (Mark 2:5) or
  12. Through the love, compassion, and faith and promise of God Himself in us (Matthew 14:14, Matthew 20:34) and
  13. Through angels (Luke 1:20-25)
  14. Or simply through the power of God that is present to heal (Luke 5:17).

Then the Holy Spirit releases His power as He wills – in response to my initiative out of humility and obedience of faith in the commands, promises, and character of God – our Healer, Deliverer, Mighty King. Not an either or – where both are waiting for each other and no-one does anything – but where both are taking initiative to proactively engage in bringing Heaven to earth – again.

Done in the best way possible – the power of God is expressed through faith via a partnership, a true intimate friendship between God – and those who choose to believe.

The more we truly are friends with the Father – and spend quality time with Him, and with the Son, Jesus, and with the Spirit – the more we will also see.

Intimacy with the Father is the key to more – as well as obedience

John 5:19

Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Matthew 6:6 – But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Luke 5:16 – Jesus would often withdraw to desolate places and pray.

previously, I experienced that it was simply not working – and super-hard. Whe I asked God why I was struggling with deep normal friendship and real genuine intimacy with Him, He literally spoke in my thoughts and said: But Peter, you have decided not to give the most intimate part if your heart to me. I realized that that decision was the stupidest decision I had ever made – and I started owning it and repenting from it – breaking that deep inner vow.

It is not static or rule based – it is living, creative, dynamic. It is not magical formulas – even though it is attached to words, wills, acts, deeds, for faith is shown in action, speaking, being, choices. Jesus never healed or delivered anyone in the same way twice. Every snowflake to ever hit the earth (multiplied billions times billions over time) – is different and unique.

Jesus was moved by compassion (love in action) to heal the sick. We need to be moved by compassion to heal the sick. We are moved by love. We are moved by sincerity of love and truth, humility, and obedience into action.

We are moved by the needs in the situation – and so is the Holy Spirit – for He sees we are all like sheep with no shepherd. He will guide us – if we will let Him.

He then enables us to move by His will and power as we flow with Him and meet needs in the name of Jesus by the supernatural power of God. If people need to be healed – we step out in faith for that by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Deliverance if that’s the need. Prophecy. Stopping the storm. Killing the tree. Raising the dead. Whatever is appropriate. Whatever is needed. Whatever Jesus would have done. Whatever is the will of Heaven on earth. We bring it into the earth – for we are also earth and have been given dominion on earth. We have Heaven in us and need to bring Heaven to earth through our earth.

So, we do not “have a gift or gifts”. We have “the gift”. The Holy Spirit has all the gifts – and lives in us – without measure – meaning – all of the Holy Spirit lives in us (John 3:34). We now need to learn through training how to operate with the Holy Spirit and step out into using the tools that He has given us through His presence inside our spirit.

We do not have “an anointing” first of all – we have “the anointing” the same amazing giant gentle super powerful dove power of God – as everybody else. We have the presence of the Holy Spirit. We also have exactly the same authority – the name of Jesus. So, this is not about you having more or less power – but about you having all the power of God and all the authority of God – and so it boils down to your obedience proven in action, your humility and brokenness under the leading of the Holy Spirit, which is true faith – love proven in bold yet broken and humble action. This puts us in deep responsibility and humility and leads us to full repentance – to learn, to submit, to be humble, to be obedient, to act in faith, to seek the Father in the name of Jesus by the Holy Spirit. It places tremendous value on us – and true responsibility to learn and receive training from Jesus – and to step out and do this work of the ministry.

Jesus just gave them all – all the power needed to heal & authority to deliver & speak to this world through faith.

If some have that and others don’t (which is a lie from the pit) – they are without serious healing and warfare tools that He Himself had to use in His own temptation…

If people say – yes – but that was Jesus or his holy hovering above ground APOSTLES doing it. But they didn’t – please re-read your Bible and see how extremely normal and ordinary the 12 were – and after they had let Jesus train them – they were amazing – yet still not perfect. They were better, though. Yes – but that was also the 70 “OTHERS” doing it. It shows they have 100% misunderstood discipleship. Jesus is Master. We are apprentices. An apprentice becomes like his Master. Matt 28:18-20 is for everyone =

we teach all to obey ALL He commanded them

= Matthew 10 and Luke 10 are therefore for all of us. The 70 “others” is soo perfect to destroy the excuse of first Jesus (we can’t do what He did), then the 12 (we can’t do what they did), – but, then the 70 “others” – destroys all of that. You are an “other”. If you will believe it and receive it by obeying it – I guarantee from God – you will find out that you can do all that Jesus commanded His disciples – if you will accept that there is a learning process involved in that.

My simple thinking around why I see healings, deliverances, prophecy, salvations, I find the person of peace and lead them to faith:

  1. I zealously desire it. I love people – and I want them to know the love and peace – and FRIENDSHIP with Daddyo – like I do.
  2. I know the power of God is strong convincer of the love of God. It moves people quickly – not as slow as friendship evangelism. Which is not bad – it’s just very slow compared to love through power evangelism.
  3. I now need to be willing to repent (change my actual thinking and actual action habits – change my behavior, stop – and do it differently), be obedient, take action, prove my faith and love through action – and step out on the promises of God – not to wait for God the send an angel – but to be simple – and read – and do. This means – lay hands on the sick – and command healing.
  4. So, I step out – and I continue to do so. I break fear and I step out. I fill myself with teaching and videos by people who step out. I learn from doing – more than studying. And THEN!!!! I DO see the fruit of being bold and courageous in obedience to the love of Jesus Christ – my MASTER.

9 – What if we step out and nothing happens?

  1. Try again – as many times as they will allow you to do it.
    1. If still – nothing happens.
  2. Own before them that you need to grow in faith and the leading of God better. Jesus was perfect and always healed all who came to Him – but He was always in perfect sync with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We need to grow.
  3. Say to them: “It doesn’t mean God doesn’t love them or that you don’t. The cross and the blood of Jesus speaks louder than all the suffering and injustice in this world.”
  4. You yourself need to know that God does not condemn you for trying – directly the opposite – He loves that you try to step out and try to be obedient to Him!
    1. For this to function well you must separate faith for healing and the supernatural from faith for salvation and KNOW that you are loved due to the blood of Jesus ONLY – and if you never obey any command of healing – you are still justified and loved ONLY by the BLOOD of Jesus. This must be your deepest and only identity.

  5. You will fail in always feeling you obey the Holy Spirit in healing the sick. We should strive for total obedience – but only One (Jesus) ever fully achieved that. The enemy will use condemnation and shame for you not feeling you obey God to go and attempt to heal someone in the name of Jesus. Command that guilt, shame, and condemnation to go – along with its sisters and brothers of self-pity and self-satisfaction. They are from the pit. Get back up and get yourself back into the total love of God – that drives away all fear.
  6. The person that you go for healing for will probably respect you and feel your love – even if they are not healed. And you can also just offer to pray for them to feel the peace of God through the Holy Spirit – this – God loves to do! People appreciate your love and concern in action.
